Pain can be a very serious problem, making everyday life very difficult. Sometimes the idea of investing in a bodywork session seems like a large commitment, especially if you're not sure if it's going to work. Our aim with the clinic is to give clients a direct experience of how Clinical Thai bodywork can address very serious pain complaints, even those that have failed conventional treatment. Session lengths will vary and will be up to the discretion of supervisors. We are not guaranteeing full sessions. To book a session, click here. We will be only helping with specific pain complaints and giving priority to pain that is most serious. We may not have time to address all clients but we will make sure that all clients receive an analysis, identifying the sources of your pain and instructions for self-care. All sessions will be done in a shared environment with people observing .

It's very difficult for students to learn how to treat pain without working on actually problems and working closely with an experienced practitioner. In the clinic, supervisors will assess and analyze client's pain problems and work with students to show them what to work on and how, modeling the clinical approach for the student. Anyone with prior Thai experience is welcome to attend.

An aside for practitioners -- you do not need experience working with pain complaints, this will be an opportunity to observe and learn how we work with clinical complaints, you will not be put on the spot and told to do things you are not comfortable with.

When you register, please indicate in the notes whether you are attending as a client or as a student.
